The trials and tribulations of pregnancy
So as of today I am 23 weeks and 5 days pregnant and have been thinking a lot recently about pregnancy and how it is completely different to how I expected it would be. I do find it strange for women that you spend a large proportion of your younger years doing everything you can to not get pregnant and then there is a shift and all you can think about is having a family and whether you will be able to get pregnant or not. My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for almost 2, I think having a family is something which both of us have always wanted, but have held off as we had other things we wanted to achieve first. So after finally moving into our amazing family home last year and me getting the promotion I'd been working towards in work, we started talking more seriously about when would be the right time to start 'trying'.
